I have worked for Nicky since March 2009 and since our first meeting, she has been an over-whelmingly supportive employer. Nicky has the ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease, allowing for positive networking. This has been used to great effect as her business has grown from strength to strength now covering an extensive region with a large number of employees, colleagues and appreciative client base.
An impressive knowledge of modern technology has allowed Nicky’s communication skills to be incredibly efficient, where she can be contacted instantly both in and out of regular working hours. This supports my belief that Nicky works above and beyond for the values of her company; working for teachers and schools to ensure the most successful supply placements for all parties. This passion and dedication is evident in all contact I have had with Nicky, whereby she not only acts with complete professionalism but also a genuine personal concern for the well-being of her employees. Not only have I felt part of a hard-working team, I have felt respected as a professional myself. Nicky recognises the achievements of her staff and is prompt to pass on supporting feedback from school placements. When I have met other employees of Education Resourcing whilst on teaching placement; they have all shared these opinions and it is evident that staff morale is high.
Nicky has also had a great deal of involvement with raising money and awareness for a number of charities. She has been keen to support her workforce in their charitable endeavour’s too, including her own participation in some. Nicky has done a lot of unrecognised work and this Award is an opportunity to correct that and say ‘thank you’ from her colleagues, employees, friends and family. She is a committed, driven person with the personality of a strong, confident, completely competent yet humble and modest professional.
