Bespoke workshops
At Education Resourcing we believe that valuable learning can take place outside the realms of the traditional classroom environment. As such, we are excited to offer bespoke workshops aimed at cultivating new skills, inspiring students to take part in new activities, encouraging personal development and increasing student confidence.
When we say ‘bespoke’, we really do mean it! With access to a diverse pool of teaching talent we can design, plan and execute a workshop on almost any topic you can imagine – just give us a call!
Here are just a couple of examples of workshops we have run in the past to give you an idea of the possibilities…
Healthy Eating
Working with a local chef, Education Resourcing Ltd is able to offer Healthy Eating Workshops to schools aimed at encouraging students to consider issues related to healthy eating whilst teaching basic cookery skills. We can also offer after school cookery clubs.
Gardening Skills
In conjunction with Simply Gardening for Schools Ltd, we offer workshops aimed at setting up gardens in schools and encouraging students to learn through horticulture. Getting involved in school gardens can be immensely rewarding to students. It helps them to learn about nature and the environment, consider practical issues such as how their food is produced and the implications of this on themselves and the planet. Further to this, the addition of gardens to schools makes the school environment a more pleasant one and can help to promote a general sense of well-being.
Sports courses
We can offer a range of sports courses, introducing pupils to new activities, as well as developing skills and fitness in more common sports. We can also run sports courses as after school clubs
